Superintendent's Message

Dear EISD Staff and the Elkhart Community,

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve as your Superintendent, having accepted this position in the spring of 2026. From my very first day, when I was introduced to the Golden Elks group—including our dedicated alumni and retired Elkhart professionals—Elkhart has welcomed me with open arms. It is clear how closely knit this community is, and I look forward to experiencing my first season of Friday Night Lights and watching all of our Elks proudly represent our schools and community throughout the year! 

This strong sense of community involvement is truly what sets EISD apart. Our teachers, administrators, and staff take immense pride in their work and are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student can grow and succeed.

Looking ahead, we are moving forward with the projects funded by the bond passed at the end of last school year. I want to once again thank our community for supporting this important initiative, which will provide enhanced educational opportunities and improved facilities for our students. Our EISD team is working closely with the Board of Trustees and our architects to ensure these funds are utilized efficiently, effectively, and in the best interest of our students and community. We are committed to keeping you informed as plans and construction progress.

Additionally, we are proud to launch the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program this school year, providing free meals to all students at our Elementary, Intermediate, and Middle School campuses. Student success is our priority, and we know that students are better prepared to learn and succeed when their nutritional needs are met.

I am incredibly blessed to be an Elk and honored to serve this outstanding school district and community. Together, I believe we have an exciting year ahead—one filled with opportunities to grow, build relationships, create memories, and continue Building the Future for our students.
